Returns, exchanges and refunds
At Stay Sharp, we want the products you receive to match your order and arrive in good condition. This policy applies subject to all mandatory consumer rights and remedies provided by applicable law.
Canada and Quebec
Except where a mandatory legal right applies, purchases are non-refundable. Eligible items may be exchanged within 30 days of purchase.
To qualify for a voluntary exchange, the item must be unused, in its original condition, with its original packaging and proof of purchase. Shipping costs associated with an exchange or an accepted return due to a change of mind are the customer's responsibility.
In Quebec, specific protections may apply to distance contracts, including where legal requirements relating to required disclosures, delivery or the contract have not been met. These mandatory rights prevail over our commercial policy. Where applicable law requires Stay Sharp to cover reasonable return costs, we will do so.
United States
For orders shipped to the United States, except where a mandatory right under applicable law applies, purchases are non-refundable. Eligible items may be exchanged within 30 days of purchase, provided that they are unused, in their original condition and packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
For an exchange or accepted return resulting from a change of mind, return shipping, transportation and any associated return costs are the customer's responsibility.
This policy does not exclude or limit any mandatory rights or warranties available under applicable federal or state law.
European Union — right of withdrawal
Subject to the exceptions provided by law, European Union consumers who make a distance purchase generally have 14 days from receipt of the last item in the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason.
Before shipment, the customer may also submit a cancellation request through their Stay Sharp account as long as the item has not yet been processed or shipped.
This pre-shipment cancellation option is separate from the 14-day withdrawal period, which begins upon receipt of the last item in the order.

After communicating the decision to withdraw, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after that communication.
Return shipping — EU withdrawal
For a return resulting from a change of mind or the exercise of the right of withdrawal, the direct cost of returning the goods is the customer's responsibility. Stay Sharp does not provide or reimburse a return label in this situation.
For international returns, the customer must follow our customs instructions and correctly identify the shipment as returned merchandise. Costs directly related to the return, including transportation, brokerage or customs charges, are the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Packages must not be sent collect or COD without our prior approval.
Refund — EU withdrawal
When a consumer validly exercises the right of withdrawal, Stay Sharp will reimburse the amounts that must legally be reimbursed once the returned item or items have been received and are undamaged.
For a withdrawal covering the entire order, this includes the amount paid for the original standard delivery.
If the customer selected a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard option, the additional amount corresponding to that more expensive option is not refundable where permitted by law.
The refund will be issued within the applicable legal time limit. Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or until the customer provides evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Condition of goods returned — EU withdrawal
The consumer may inspect the product to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
The consumer may, however, be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection.
United Kingdom — distance selling cancellation rights
Subject to the exceptions provided by law, United Kingdom consumers who purchase online generally have 14 days after delivery to cancel their purchase, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods after communicating their decision to cancel.
For a change of mind or the exercise of this cancellation right, the direct cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility where permitted by law and where the customer has been informed of this.
For a cancellation covering the entire order, Stay Sharp will reimburse the amounts legally due, including the cost of the original standard delivery where required. Any additional amount corresponding to a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard option is not refundable where permitted by law.
Other international destinations
Except where a mandatory right under applicable law applies, purchases are non-refundable. Eligible items may be exchanged within 30 days of purchase.

For an exchange or accepted return resulting from a change of mind, return shipping, transportation, brokerage, customs and other costs directly related to the return are the customer's responsibility to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Damaged, defective, non-conforming or incorrectly shipped items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, not as described, different from the item ordered, or shipped in error by Stay Sharp, please contact us as soon as possible at info@staysharpmtl.com with your order number and, where relevant, photographs of the product and packaging.
In these situations, Stay Sharp will cover the necessary return shipping when the issue is confirmed or where applicable law requires it, and will provide return instructions.
Do not ship the product before receiving our return instructions.
If damage is attributable to the carrier, please keep the product, box and all packaging materials so that an inspection or carrier claim can be completed.
This section is separate from a voluntary return or change of mind: in the latter case, return shipping remains the customer's responsibility.
Stay Sharp 5-year commercial warranty
Stay Sharp provides a limited 5-year commercial warranty on eligible products.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, impacts or drops, improper maintenance, or use inconsistent with the product's normal purpose.
Any damage submitted under a warranty claim must be inspected and assessed by Stay Sharp.
This commercial warranty is in addition to applicable statutory warranties and rights and does not replace or limit them.
Discounts advertised after purchase
Discounts, promotions or offers announced after a purchase has been completed do not apply retroactively to an earlier purchase, subject to applicable law.
