The Asahi Cookin' Cut HOME cutting board is made in Japan from antibacterial synthetic rubber , a material prized in professional kitchens for its durability and gentleness on blades. Measuring 380 × 210 × 13 mm , this model from the HOME range offers an ideal balance between compactness and ease of use for home cooking.

Its slightly elastic surface provides a smooth and precise cutting feel, while reducing wear on the edge of Japanese knives. Unlike wood or plastic, Asahi rubber does not easily deform, crack, or absorb liquids or odors.

The board remains stable on the work surface thanks to its moderate weight and non-slip texture. Maintenance is simple: just hand wash it with a mild detergent and dry it thoroughly. It can also be disinfected in hot water (up to 90°C).

To avoid:

  • Dishwasher, direct heat or prolonged vertical drying, which can cause slight deformation.

  • Use with serrated blades or for cutting frozen or bony foods.
