The Sekishin GTU-02 is a perforated spatula made in Japan, designed to easily flip, lift, and serve food from a skillet, griddle, or grill. Its wide stainless steel surface provides good support for larger or more delicate foods, while the perforations allow oil and cooking juices to drain naturally.

The flat portion measures 180 mm long by 75 mm wide, with a total weight of 235 g. This generous size is particularly well-suited for pancakes, fish, grilled vegetables, okonomiyaki, or portions of meat. The slight raised edge between the blade and the handle also provides ample clearance for your fingers when working directly on a flat surface.

Its black handle is secured by two rivets and ends with an eyelet for hanging the spatula. When held, the GTU-02 prioritizes control and support over the flexibility of a small, thin spatula.

Its width makes it particularly useful for cooking tasks that require lifting a large area of food at once. However, it is less suitable for very small pans or tasks requiring a high degree of precision. Hand-washing and drying after use will help keep the stainless steel and handle in good condition.
